Black and white photography has been part of my life since I first stepped into a darkroom at the age of eleven, developing my own film and discovering the raw power of light and shadow. What began as curiosity quickly became a lasting obsession with contrast, texture, and the way monochrome strips an image down to its essence. I am drawn to strong, hard contrasts—the tension between deep blacks and bright highlights that reveals structure, emotion, and form without distraction. This collection marks the beginning of an ongoing body of work shaped by that vision: a pursuit of clarity through simplicity, and intensity through restraint.
