Trift

The high-alpine Trifthütte, part of the Swiss Alpine Club family, is located in the heart of the Susten, Grimsel, and Furka Passes. All approaches are long and spectacular, especially the route from the Susten Pass road to the Trift Bridge, whether taken by cable car or on foot. In 2025, the Trifthütte was rebuilt at a new location closer to the Trift Glacier after the old hut was destroyed by an avalanche. It will re-open mid 2026.
